The Jack Higgins Memorial Walk and Run will start at Blackrock Castle at 11am. You can either walk the 5K route by the Lough Mahon estuary or run the 10K route which will bring you further along the track to the Rochestown Walk.
There is something for everyone! The late Jack Higgins (former Cork City Manager) played a key part in developing the walks around the Lough Mahon estuary, Harty’s Quay and Rochestown. This event will honour all Jack’s work in developing these fabulous amenities and the City of Cork generally during his career.
