From www.triathlonireland.com This Saturday, 10 of our Irish athletes will be lining up on the start line of the ITU European Cup elite race in Athlone. This is the first time in the history of triathlon in Ireland that we have had such a large contingent representing at this level.
This Saturday, Ireland will be represented by ten athletes in the elite race, ETU Cup Athlone. This will be the largest Irish elite ITU representation.
The elite women’s race will start at 3:30pm and the men’s elite race will start at 6pm. This will be a great opportunity to support Emma Davis in her final race before Beijing and our upcoming stars following in her footsteps.
