
This year 2009 we are proudly celebrating our 24th Annual five mile road race, and already looking forward to our our 25th Anniversary in 2010.
This years run is in aid of the Ulster Cancer Foundation and for the first time there will be a wheel chair race which starts at 12:50, due to health and safety reasons there is a seperate walk at 11am.
All 2009 Online entrants, walkers and runners, will be entered into a draw which will take place at the prize giving ceremony afterwards. The star prize is a weekend for two at the K Club Golf & Spa Resort – 5 Star Hotel in Co Kildare worth €3000.
Greencastle is just a few miles outside Omagh, Co Tyrone on the Cookstown Road.
This run has been going for many years and always supports local charities.
Greencastle ‘Boxing Day Run’ is affectionly known as the largest run in Ireland over the Festive Period and draws top runners from all over Irealnd.
This years charity is the Ulster Cancer Foundation of which we are trying to raise £20k plus.
