Dublins quayside was awash with pink in September last year as over 1200 participants ran, jogged and walked the 5km along the Liffey. Men, women, children and dogs came out in pink to support Breast Cancer Ireland’s inaugural Great Pink Run and over €30,000 was raised. This year it will be just as pink, just as fun and hopefully raise a whole lot more for this worthwhile charity. The course will now have a 5km and a 10km option. It is a flat, looped route and will start and finish at the Point Village. The flat course is ideal for beginners and those aiming for their personal bests with an almost complete absence of gradient of any kind.
