Nicola O’Ceallaigh had a great run to finish just outside the top ten in 13th position in the very competitive Girl’s U19 event. This race, over 3500m, featured many experienced Junior international competitors.
The adult Novice races are traditionally a very competitive affair, mixing up and coming young talent with seasoned competitors who have not yet claimed a medal at Senior or Intermediate level. GCH’s Matthew Lockett was third in the Men’s 6k race, just behind Alan O’Brien, Crusaders and Barry Minnock, Rathfarnham.
Congratulations to all!
