Feb 15th NEW YEAR,NEW YOU! Set yourself a challenge and do something different this Valentine’s Weekend!
On Saturday 15th February in Tullow, Co. Carlow, there is a special Valentine’s Event taking place. Challenge yourself to 5 kilometres of cross country, obstacles and muck – lots of muck! This event is open to everyone from couch potatoes to seasoned athletes so now is the time to enter online and join the Valentine Muckfest.
There will be a DJ on site, and a funny camera booth to get your memorable photographs. All entrants who complete the course will receive a trophy and a very welcome hot beverage crossing the finish line. There will be photographers taking live snaps during the race which will be available on Facebook afterwards. Proceeds of the Valentine Muckfest are towards Ardattin National School and the Parish Community Walking Track.
So whether you are a fun loving couple, a fitness guru, a work group, a sports team or you just want to shed the Christmas excess, this is the 2014 Spring Event for you!
