First Ferdia Challenge 5k and 10k Individual and Family Road Race, Fun Run-Jog-Walk. Proceeds in aid of St John of God’s, Drumcar, Co Louth. This is a unique opportunity to run and see the streets of Ardee. The course is a good course for beginners as the roads are relatively level. €20 Individual Entry for 10k with Chip Timing and €10 Individual Entry for 5k with chip timing. Race takes place on Saturday 6th October 2012 at 3.30pm. Starting point is at Sean O’Carroll Street (just off the Main Street) and finishing at Sean O’Carroll Street. Prizes will be presented for each category and refreshments will be served in the Ferdia Arms, Castle Street, Ardee.
