It filled in about 4 hours on Saturday morning. The Race Organisers look forward to seeing all those who got a entry on race weekend. Unfortunately they could only take 300 entries. Next year they hope to have more as there is an expansion of the slip used for swim start due to be completed at the end of the summer. The race briefing and all other relevant info will be posted here and e- mailed to all athletes over the next few weeks including events planned in Schull for race weekend.

If anyone has any questions about their entry or other questions relating to the race: Travel, accommodation or training advice please e-mail us: info@schulltriathlonclub.com and we will try and help you.

The Eurospar Fastnet triathlon is a sprint distance race and consists of 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run.
The race starts on a stony beach below the Schull Community College Sailing Centre. The swimming section will be on a triangular course in the protected harbour. This section finishes on the college slipway. From here there is a short run up to the transition area. The bike course is an out and back course along a scenic country/coastal road. Although the course is hilly there is no major hill on the route. The run route follows the coast from the Schull Community College to the turnaround point just before Colla pier.
