Naas Triathlon Club are hosting a qualifier for the European Duathlon Championships that are being held in Limerick in April 2011 Punchestown Racecourse in Kildare is the venue for Naas Tri Clubs Duathlon series held in Jan/Feb/Mar each year. This year in order to facilitate qualification for the European Duathlon Championships they are running an additional race on 12th December with 7 slots up for grabs in each age category.
Sponsored by Wheelworx bike and tri store this is a unique opportunity to take part in a major championships on Irish soil. Punchestown is a fantastic venue with excellent facilities.The run is on the tarmac ambulance track around the historic racecourse and the bike is on controlled, quiet country roads to Blessington. Distances: 3.5k/20k/3.5k
