Sport A Smile Get set to run among giants this August
This August 31st you can run with giants in Claremorris at the annual DeCare Dental Sport a Smile 5 mile run/walk, which this year goes through the Land of the Giants. Runners and walkers alike can enjoy the beautiful landscape of the wooded train, while raising money for a great cause, with all proceeds going to the Mayo Cancer Support Association.
Families can join in the fun too at the Sport a Smile on the Square event taking place from 3:30pm with a DJ, face painting, games, giveaways and guest appearances from the Tooth Fairy and Mini and Mickey Mouse!

Mayo Cancer Support Association is a cause that we are very proud to support and the race participants, local businesses and spectators always rally their help and support both in the run up to the event and on the day. It’s that community spirit that always makes the event so special. A little bit of sun for good measure is also a bonus but we’ve proven before that it’s not essential.”
The DeCare Dental Sport a Smile race starts at 6pm on Saturday Aug 31st from the square in Claremorris, with refreshments afterwards for all participants and prizes for key race categories.
For those who wish to enter the Sport a Smile run/walk, online registration can be found at www.sportasmile.ie. Registration is also available on race day on a first-come-first-served basis at Maxwells, Market Square, Claremorris from 4 to 6 pm.
