The now yearly Clifden Lifeboat 10k race will take place in Clifden, Co Galway on Sunday 12th september 2010 at 2pm. The route will take competitors, up the scenic Sky Road, and will have different categories to suit all levels of fitness from serious runners to walkers, as well as teams of 3 or 4 people.
This year we are also introducing 3 age categories for runners, under 40 male and female, 41-50 male and female and 51+ male and female. To date this race has raised about €13000 for the Clifden Lifeboat and we hope that this year will be as successful as the previous ones. However sponsorship forms are voluntary, just tick the box to let us know if you want one sent on to you. Accurate timing will be ensured on the day with chip timing. AAI permitted.
