Cheetah Run 2012 – Entries Closed!!

Entries for the Cheetah Run 2012 opened at approx. am on Tuesday May 1st and the last (800th) place sold at 20:43 on Wed May 2nd.  Eagle AC was surprised at the speed at which the event sold out – inside 34 hours!

Eagle AC regrets that it cannot accomodate any more entries this year – we will reevaluate the situation for next year’s race, with a view to increasing the limit.  We do not have a waiting list for the event.

Persons accompanying race entrants will be allowed free access to Fota Wildlife Park provided they are accompanied through the access door by an athlete in possession of a race number. Unaccompanied persons will not be admitted.

Headphones/animals/birds/cattlegrids/Ramps and safety.

This is NOT your ordinary race. While the race is being held largely over closed roads, there are many hazards on the course, some unique to this unique race. The race starts and finishes within Fota Wildlife Park – approx. 3 miles are within the park, and it is likely that there will be park animals and birds on the course. There are other hazards, unique to a wildlife park setting. Because of these hazards, the use of headphones is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN.
