“I cannot think of a faster, flatter race to run taking in the scenic views of the Galway coastline whilst raising money for homelessness” Jane-Ann Meehan, Ladies 10 Mile Winner, 2014 The sun is shining and the countdown is on to the annual Galway Simon ‘Kick Assphalt’ 10 or 10 race which takes place this Sunday on the Salthill Promenade in Galway. There is still time to register to take part this year and with its choice of two distances, 10 km or 10 mile, it is perfect for first time walkers, joggers or runners as well as anyone who is looking to chase a personal best because of the flat and fast course along the Salthill Prom, which has been officially measured.
