The second running of the Castlecomer 5K takes place in the beautiful Castlecomer Discovery Park on Sun 6th April at 11am.
An undulating & scenic circuit around the lakes makes for a very enjoyable run for all participants. Its an off road route but on a good trail surface with not a car in sight!
Last year saw Stephen Lawlor from St Abbans AC win the mens race while Teresa Ager won the ladies race.
The first event received widespread approval from all participants.
REGISTRATION starts from 9.45am €10 entry for adults & €5 students and Families €20
A 2K family walk/jog/run will start at 11.30am
Post race refreshments will be available in the Estate Yard.
All proceeds go to the Presentation Convent NS in Castlecomer.
