From Limerick AC Tom Carey won The Limerick Senior Mens Cross Country Championship in Newcastle West in Limerick on Sun. 02 Nov.2008 . Martin Doody fresh from his super run in the Dublin City Marathon last Mon. finished a gallant runner up . Rosemary Ryan Bilboa AC won the Senior Womens Race in style following up on her great win in The Limerick Mini Marathon last month . In the Junior Womens Race Fiona O Shea & Aoife McInerney finished joint 1st. as they both crossed the line together . Mike Lenihan won bronze in The Junior Mens Race followed closely home by Niall Fitzgerald & Robert Cunningham in 4th. & 5th. place respectively – Michael Carmody & Ciaran Ryan of Emerald AC were 1st. & 2nd. in this Age Group .
