This year The Carer’s Association are holding their annual Care to Run race as part of Newbridge town’s JuneFest. The race will be held on the last Sunday in May and offers both 10k and 5k routes, making it suitable for serious athletes and novice runners alike…families, joggers and walkers are also welcome.
The AAI Certified route takes in the picturesque Curragh plaines. Entry includes a timing chip and a race pack at the finish line, which contains refreshments and a race memento.

There will be limited shower facilities available.
On street parking is free on Sundays, plus there are two multistory car parks less than 5 minutes walk from Ryston Sports Club.

Event schedule and times
On the day registration will open at 9.00am where participants can pick up their race numbers and timing chips. The 10k category will start at 11am from the Ryston Sports Centre Newbridge. The 5k will start at 11.15am from the same location.
