At Cappagh Hospital, the most vulnerable patients are children with Bone Tumour Cancer. For these children there is need for an isolation unit, as something as simple as a sneeze from a visitor can have harrowing effects on their already fragile immune system and can seriously compromise their entire recovery.
With your help, Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital aims to provide a sterile and infection free environment in the form of a new Isolation Unit, ensuring that patients in ‘isolation’, like children with Bone Tumour Cancer, will continue to benefit from vital treatments in a safe environment.
You can help by taking part in our 10k Fun Run on 16th May in the Phoenix Park in Dublin and raising sponsorship to help fund the unit.
Entry Fee €20 and/or Sponsorship of €20 or more
