The BlackStairs Adventure Race on Sunday 4th May (May Bank Holiday) is now in it’s 3rd year and growing from strength to strength.
This unique adventure race will bring you across the borders of 3 counties in the south-east namely Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford.
Commencing in Rathnure a small village in Co.Wexford at the foot of the BlackStairs Mountains, part of the route takes you across the mountain
and down into the valley where you will cycle to the beautiful picturesque Kilkenny village of Graiguenamanagh and Kayak down the Barrow river.
Early Bird finishes Sat 01 March with fantastic value of 50 Euro for the Elite(7 Black Steps – 65km) and Sport (5 Black Steps – 45km).
Our beginner event (3 Black Steps ) is 30 Euro which comprises of a Run 10km and Cycle 15km and is an ideal introduction to the adventure
racing scene.
Our focus is on the Competitor insuring that they have a quality enjoyable day at an affordable cost.
