Sunday 3rd November Corkagh Park, Clondalkin, Dublin None Brain Tumour Ireland is holding a 10K (timed race) and 5K on Sunday 3rd November in Corkagh Park, Clondalkin (NB Not Phoenix Park as previously advertised).
Brain Tumour Ireland is the first Irish charity dedicated to raising awareness of brain tumours, and providing support to patients and their families. It was launched in November 2012, in memory of Ronnie Fehily; a Wicklow mum of four who passed away as a result of a brain tumour in early 2012.
This event, which takes place during Brain Tumour Awareness Week, forms part of “Walk Around the World for Brain Tumours”, a project co-coordinated by the International Brain Tumour Alliance (IBTA). We will donate the mileage covered in Corkagh Park to the IBTA’s “World Walk” target of circling the earth to raise awareness of brain tumours globally.
To help contribute to the mileage and donate to the work of Brain Tumour Ireland, come join us on Sunday, 3rd November in the Corkagh Park!
