Following on from the success of the last two years, the Cork Association for Autism (CAA) will be holding their annual 6km Blue Balloon Fun Run & Walk in Blackrock on Sunday September 11th. It will begin at 11am from the start of the Old Railway Line near Páirc Uí Chaoimh and the scenic route will take participants along the old railway line and back by the water finishing near Blackrock Castle. This is a flat route and is ideal training for anybody doing the Cork Mini Marathon in September. There will be light refreshments served at the finish line along with a ‘Blue Balloon Release’. As places are limited it is expected to sell out this year so register early to reserve your spot.
