the big splash triathlon is a sprint distance triathlon in portglenone. with a 750 meter open water swim in the river bann, 12 mile cycle and a 3 mile run.
We will have a 750 meter swim, this will suit alot of first time triathletes and also lead to some fast times from the more expierienced athletes as the river in this area has a very slow moving current. The bike course is on a rolling but fast road on a straight out and back route and the run is on a fast flat course. with the finish line located in the town centre. This is going to be a fast fun race!!!
