The parents association of the Gaelscoil in Bandon in conjunction with Bandon athletic club are organising an AAI approved 10k road race/fun run/walk on 24th October at 1pm. Registration will take place on the day in the GAA pavillion, where refreshments will be served after the race. The entry fee is 10 euros and will go directly to the Gaelscoil. There will be prizes for the usual categories sponsored by Caulfields Super Valu, Bandon. The course will be on the quiet country roads around Bandon and will obviously present some challenges given the natural terrain. This race should help to keep us motivated right throughout the autumn time, as many of the other road races happen in summer.
There will be pre and post event massage available on the day by qualified physical therapists, members of the iapt.
