Results AVIVA North Leinster Schools’ Cross Country St Clare’s Sports Ground, DCU Wed 2nd February 2011 A blustery day in St Clare’s DCU for the AVIVA North Leinster Schools’ Cross Country saw large numbers of young people taking part with some good running and exciting finishes.

The best race of the day was the last one, the Senior Boys, where Carl Dunne and Ian Guiden went head to head not for the first time this year. Ian is probably the most improved young runner this winter but once again he had to accept the silver as the superior speed of Carl proved decisive in the end.
In the inter Boys’ race Andrew Coscoran, St Mary’s Drogheda, was an outstanding winner while school mates and training partners Linda Conroy and Lorraine Daly, both from Mercy Kilbeggan, battled out the finish and helped their team to the gold medals as well.
Adam Cunningham, St Fintan’s, was first home in the Minor Boys’ Race where we had 201 finishers.
