Waterford AC Half Marathon

This race is not recommended for walkers.
The route had to be altered slightly this year due to possible work being done at the RSC. The race starts outside Kellihers Electrics (opposite Smyths Toy Store) and finishes with a lap of the new Nature Park adjacent to Kingfisher Leisure Centre where showers and refreshments will be available. This very popluar Half Marathon has a great reputation of offering great value for money with an entry fee of €25. The course is relatively flat and offers runners a great chance of running a PB.

There will be pacers for 1.30, 1.40, 1.45, 1.50 and 2 hrs.
All finishers will recieve a goody bag. We do not give medals, opting instead to give a nice warm hat/neckwarmer given the time of year our race is on.
This year all the numbers and chips will be posted out to particiapants the week before the event to prevent the early morning rush for runners on race day. For this reason it will be pre entries only and no entries will be taken after the 20th November.
Post race refreshments and prize giving will be available in the Kingfisher Leisure Centre
Please note there will be not parking at Kingfisher on the day. Please avail of parking at the nearby Retail Parks and the RSC.

I understand that I enter the WAC half marathon at my own risk and that WAC or any of our sponsors will not be held responsible for any accident suffered or injury sustained by myself from any cause whatsoever or for any property lost, mislaid or stolen on the course or at the changing areas. I understand that the entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
