from Donore Harriers website There were some great performances by Donore athletes at today’s Dublin Marathon. A perfect day for running and amazing support along the course most likely contributed to some brilliant running, PBs and course records. As usual Donore members were on hand to man the drinks station just after the Chapelizod gate and there was great excitement every time a Donore vest streamed by. The appreciation of the support was evident on the face of the first Donore man Diarmuid O’ Seaghdha who continued his good running to post a fine time of 2.28.36.
Other results were David Heffernan with a PB of 2.35.54, Darren Hand 2.48.53 also a PB and his first time to go sub 3hrs as did Andrew Hanrahan with 2.58.59, Ken Nugent posted 2.50.03 with George Brady running 2.57.10, Padraig Mc Greal 3.10.52 and John Gleeson 3.15.38. Paul Graham 03:30:30, Clodagh Flynn 03:54:27 and Helen Gildea 06:00:11.
Well done to all.
