The first Killarney Triathlon takes place on June 12th. The gun goes off at 10:30am. at Dundag Point. Participants will undertake a swim in Muckross Lake, a cycle through and around Killarney town and a run through Killarney National Park to finish at Muckross House. This promises to be one of the most scenic and interesting events in Ireland or anywhere. Each entrant will receive a goodie bag. Prizes will be presented to the first male and female finishers, the top three relay teams and the top three in every category. Refreshments and prize giving will take place after the event in the INEC at the Gleneagle Hotel. There are Individual, Team and "Tri Buddy" categories available.
