Galway’s Very own Womens’ 10k along the bay. You can now register online for the Women’s Mini Marathon Galway which takes place on Sunday 27th June 2010. The beautiful route takes participants from Southpark along the prom, up the challenging Threadneedle Road, along Kingston Road, and back along the prom to finish at Southpark again. If you are looking for a professionally organised race in a relaxed and fun environment, then register for this event. ALL PROCEEDS from this event go to Galway Simon Community to help combat homelessness in the west of Ireland.
Now in its second year, the organisers of the Women’s Mini Marathon Galway are aiming to grow the event into an unmissable race in the West’s Athletic Calendar. The race will be AAI certified, professionally timed by RedTagTiming, and all participants will receive a Medal and T Shirt. All this for just €25, will the proceeds of the event going to support the most vulnerable people in our society.
