The 10K for our more serious runners, the 5k provides opportunity for serious runners, those who have decided to get fit for the new year and for those who just want to take part. The 5K walk offers opportunity for families to participate and gives the occassion the important fun atmosphere.
Hospice Charity Challenge 10k/5k run & 5K walk
The race will take place in Bessbrook. .
Changing facilities are located 100m from start line with ample parking facility. There will be light refreshments afterwards.
Southern area hospices has approximately 200 volunteers and is reliant upon their support for its survival. There is no guaranteed funding for the Hospice. The target for 2010 is to raise £2.2 million. Every penny really does count. With cancer affecting 1 in 3 families in Northern Ireland this is a really worthwhile cause.
Bessbrook: is a village in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. It lies about three miles (5km) west of Newry and close to the main Dublin-Belfast road and rail line.
