The Lost Sheep Half Iron Triathlon has since it’s inception in 2003 gained a reputation both nationally and internationally as one of the toughest half ironman distance races on the triathlon circuit. Traditionally staged in september each year the event starts with a 1900m swim in the scenic Kenmare Bay followed by an 83km cycle which takes competitors over two category one climbs on the Healy and Caha passes and finishes after an undulating 21km run mostly on quiet country roads close to the picturesque town of Kenmare.
The Lost Sheep 2010 will take place in Kenmare on saturday September 11th, 2010.
Entry to the event for 2010 will be on-line only, entries will open in May 2010, the exact date will be posted on this page once finalised. Please note that registration to the event will take place in Kenmare on friday Sep 10th from 7-9:00pm only, there will be no race registration on race day.
