Fun, Agility, Speed, Technique. My name is James Nolan, a two time Irish Olympian, multiple national champion and director of FAST Kids.
Recent studies show that over 80% of Irish children have underdeveloped motor and fitness skills (Astle 2009, OSP 2008, British Heart Foundation 2008). Throughout my career I have gained an understanding of fundamental movements required to develop the motor and fitness skills of children in Ireland which has led me to set up Fast Kids. The primary school curriculum list includes the following activities: athletics, dance, gymnastics, games, aquatics, outdoor and adventure activities. Fast Kids delivers agility, balance, coordination, speed, technique and skills necessary for maximising participation and achieving maximum potential for children at an array of sporting activities.
FAST Kids programme of activity provide a solution to the delivery of professional child focused activity that are based on best international practices aimed to increase participation levels in a broad variety of sports and physical activities.
