Rás na Nollag in an Cheathrú Rua are expecting up four hundred paricipants in their upcoming Christmas event.
The event comprises of a 7k run and 22k cycle, which can also be done as a relay, and will cater for all age groups and abilities, and are also organising a fun races for kids, maybe the first ever pedal go-kart race and a short bicycle race on the morning of the 28th of December at 11am
The main event will commence at 1pm, Sign on is in An Cistin bar in Carraroe, but the organiser advise all interested participants to book online here or at www.trysport.ie as the event is limited to four hundred. It will also be the first event for team Trysport which is a new club for competiriors with a passion for adventure racing and the Irish language.
Some well known sporting gaelgeoirí have already signed for the team.
