The Marion Geraghty 10Km Memorial Race is held annually on the first Sunday in July of each year in the County Offaly village of Mountbolus six miles from Tullamore. The race is primarily ran in aid of the the Irish Sarcoidosis Support Network and in memory of the late Marion Geraghty.

The race is divided into two areas one a fun run taking place over 5km for those who feel that the 10km race may be a little tough. The second race is the 10km race which gives any athlete a tough test over an undulating course and which has grown in popularity over the past five years being primarily supported by the Tullamore Harriers running club and many club runnersr the around the midlands area. We do welcome runners who use the race as preparation for The Dublin City Marathon later in the year.
