Results A big thanks to everyone that took part in Sundays race. It was a great day and a great tribute to John and all his work in athletics. It was very fitting that the athletes in 2nd, 3rd and 4th, and the female winner were all coached by John over the years. Sponsorship money is still coming in, if you have any more to give e-mail me for details, we are approaching €4,000 for the Irish Cancer Society!! There were some great totals raised in sponsor money, and a big thank you goes to those that downloaded the form and raised extra money for such a worthy cause.

Thanks to Fingal Co Co for allowing us hold the event there, hopefully we’ll be back next year with bigger numbers in such a great running environment. Thanks to Triathlon Ireland for insuring the event, and all our sponsors that helped out in running the event, Starbucks Malahide, Gibney’s Malahide, Louis Copelands, PostBank, Amphibian King, Londis Malahide, and Michael’s Flower Shop in Malahide. A massive thank you must also go to the volunteers both from Piranha Tri Club and also friends and family that allowed the day to run so smoothly!
