None 25 Galway City Harriers took to the roads and hills of Craughwell yesterday for their 3rd Fit4Life 5K.Weather conditions were perfect, organisation as usual superb with even a rub down available afterwards for weary muscles from our very own Ian Egan. 87 in total took part from the various clubs involved in the Fit4Life in Galway and all Fit4Life Leaders were very vocal in their support of their protegees.

Fit4Life Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. Meeting point Westside Library on Seamus Quirke Road. For those of you willing to tackle a longer distance don’t forget Kilconieron 8K next Saturday 28th Feb @12 with entries taken from 10am at Kilconieron GAA Club.
On a lovely crisp Feb morning several members of GCH fit4life hit the country roads around Craughwell for the third 5km time trial. As usual organisation was spot on, lots of water and pacers for every level. So a big thanks to Craughwell AC! I must be jinked as this was the second 5km I have missed due to injury so rather than being a lazy sausage with the Sunday paper I said I would head out and take some photos.
So here you go.
