My name is Damien Malone and I am P.R.O. of Schull Triathlon Club in west cork We are holding our Eurospar Fastnet Triathlon on June 6th this year. Entry for the race opens this Saturday morning. If you could pass this information on to your members, or put in on your website it would be greatly appreciated.
Below is a short description of the race if you care to add this to your website also
Entry to the Eurospar Fastnet Triathlon in Schull Co. Cork will open on
at 10:00 on the 21st February. Online entry only this
year. Teams of 2 or 3 people are also welcome. The Eurospar Fastnet
triathlon is a sprint distance race and consists of 750m swim, 20km cycle
and 5km run. It is held in the coastal village of Schull and has proved to
be a very popular Triathlon over the last number of years. The swim takes
place in the sheltered harbour in Schull. The cycle is an out and back
route with some small hills. The run is also out and back but follows the
coast for most of the route the scenery is very impressive and is a welcome
distraction for some competitors.
