Ray O’Connor and his brother Johnny have led the way and the path they have blazed has been followed by Club Person of the year 2008 Maire T. Beatty, Larry Kelly, Mick Rice, Jane Ann Healy and many, many others. This week Croi have announced details of two of their most special trip, to New York and Inisboffin.

For Runners and Walkers, the ING New York City Marathon is recognised as one of the world’s greatest marathon experiences!
Over the years, a large number of people from all over Ireland have completed the 26.2mile course through the 5 boroughs of New York as a fundraiser for the fight against heart disease. We ask you now to consider participating in the World’s No.1 Marathon – the 2009 ING New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 1st to help raise funds in support of our work in the area of Sudden Cardiac Death and Community/ Public Access Defibrillation. Anyone who has completed the New York City Marathon will tell you that the experience is second to none! Why not take the New York Challenge this year and run or walk for Croí?
For all those who choose to run or walk the New York City Marathon as part of the Croí team, we guarantee a superb and professionally managed tour experience. Once your guaranteed entry has been secured we provide training and fundraising support and guidance.
