from Dundrum Ac website The focus in Nenagh this weekend was on DSD’s Masters Athletes. Kevin Byrne was in top form, winning the M35 Pentathlon Championships on Saturday with a new pb of 2,433 pts. En route, he did 3 individual pb’s – the high jump (1.67m), long jump (5.51m) and 60mh (10.1 sec). Kevin was back in Nenagh on Sunday, where he won the M35 High Jump with 1.65m. Joe Davies made his Masters debut, coming 2nd in the M50 high jump with 1.45m. Lucy Moore also competed, coming 2nd in the W50 HJ (1.30m) and 2nd in the shot (9.24m). The next Masters competition will be the Leinster Championships on 1st February, followed by the Scottish Championships on 21st February. Anyone interested should contact Lucy Moore for details.
