Runners leave the village of Kenmare on the Wild Atlantic Way and pick up the trail heading towards Peakeen Mountain and on to Galway’s Bridge, on the cusp of Killarney National Park. Rounding the marshalling station here, the runners head south back to Gowlane’s Cross before heading east towards Dromcahan and eventually back to Kenmare. Route starts at sea level and rises to an elevation of 700m, crossing some of Kerry’s finest peaks and rivers.
