A UK Event! If you’re after a new challenge, then look no further than Born Survivor, one of the toughest and most innovative obstacle events in the country, designed to test fitness, determination and team work to the absolute limit.
Designed by members of the elite corps of Royal Marines Commandos this gruelling event will take place on Saturday 27th September, at the ordinarily serene Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire. However, this stunning venue, which is only 16 miles from Manchester’s city centre and on the edge of the Peak District National Park, will be shaken to its core when individuals and teams embark on what could be their toughest challenge yet.
The 10km course is seriously tough, featuring over 30 military-inspired and purpose built obstacles, each packing a powerful punch, without any gimmicks. We’ve also thrown some pretty tough running in there too, meaning respite will only come at the finish.
Matt Leigh, Born Survivor’s general manager, said, “We can’t wait for our next event at Capesthorne Hall on the 27th September. Whilst we’ve become renowned for delivering super high quality 10km obstacle courses, we’re not happy to rest on our laurels and this next event is going to be even bigger and better. So much so, we’re breaking new ground in the obstacle course world by staging a full marathon, as well as our usual 10km course. Interest in this has been astonishing and with limited places for the 42km course, entries are already coming thick and fast.”
Designed for those who really think they’ve got what it takes, the insanely hardcore Born Survivor Marathon will comprise 4 modified laps of the 10km course, ensuring those who dare take on the challenge will experience over 120 obstacles and the full 42km distance.
It’s not all mud, sweat and tears, though. The festival-inspired fun and games are the main theme in the thumping event village, where post-event live music, licensed bar and top-notch catering facilities will be available for weary participants and energised spectators.
