After the resounding success of last year, Muck Off is back in 2014 bigger and better. Taking place on the Sunday (3rd) of the August Bank Holiday weekend, Muck Off promises to be as every bit as good as last year …and even better! With over 600 entries last year Muck Off proved to be an overwhelming triumph with the scenic course proving to be quite a talking point. This year’s course will be packed full of natural and man made obstacles with extra slides (a big favourite of last year) dotted throughout the course. Like last year, there will be a 5k run, a 10k run and a 5k team run. But this year there will be an opportunity for people to walk the course in our 5k walk. There isn’t just pride at stake for the winners as there is over €1000 in prize money. Sign up before the end of June and you will get yourself a snazzy Muck Off T-Shirt with each entrant getting a Muck Off goody bag and finishers medal. But what makes Muck Off stand out from the crowd is the family friendly vibe that the event creates. Last year there was plenty to keep the spectators entertained apart from the racing with Bouncy castles, trampolines and zorb balls along with the very popular Pig on the Spit.
