About the Event

On Saturday 7th June, teams of between 3 and 6 people will walk the 50km challenge or our 25km challenge across the stunning Mourne Mountains supporting Oxfam’s work.

A 50km walk starting at 7.30am

On the day of the trek, teams which have opted for the Trailtrekker 50km trek will sign in at Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor. From there, we will transport you to the starting point.

The trek is a specially designed route through the Mourne Mountains. Along the route there are seven checkpoints for teams to stop briefly to rest and refuel before setting off again and completing the trail in less than 16 hours.

A 25km trek starting at 11.30am

The trail is a specially designed route through the Mourne Mountains. Along the route there are four checkpoints for teams to stop briefly to rest and refuel before setting off again. The trail should be completed in less than 8 hours with many teams completing it in 6. At the end of your trek, there will be an Oxfam Trailtrekker party to celebrate your accomplishment.
