Same fast flat accurately measured course where many pb’s have been set and some great battles fought including the epic 2007 contest between All Ireland Champions and running legends Gerry Ryan and Paul MacNamara and last years masterclass in running from newly crowned National Marathon Champion and Olympian Maria McCambridge who smashed the womens course record and finished in 5th place overall in a very strong field of runners.
New for 2009 includes online entries which will soon be available and a top class gift of running gear for all athletes soon to be announced. Entry still only €15 and a fantastic range of category prizes including First 3 Men and Women and category prizes for winners of all age groups including M40,45,50,55,60,65 and 70 and Women 35,40,45,50,55,60 and 65. Walkers are especially welcome in 2009 and the famous Tuam hospitality including tons of the legendary fruit cake and tea and coffee will be provided.
