The AAI certified route remains the same as previous years, starting at St. Aloysius college and will take you along the banks of the river Shannon out to Clonown before you turn and return in the Ballinasloe road back to Athlone. Take a look at the course. With a total elevation gain of just 79 metres it’s the flattest half marathon around that’s why we called it the “Flatline”. If your looking to achieve a Personal Best time then this is the race for you.
