Clonakilty Waterfront Marathon V is on Saturday 6th of December 2014 and has 3 race distances . A full marathon 26.2 miles, half marathon 31.1 miles and a 10 km race. All race distances start and finish in awardwinning Clonakilty town and the routes takes you through scenic picturesque villages of Rathbarry , Castlefreak and Ardfield taken in some breathtaking ocean views along the West Cork coastal routes. The highest elevation is approx 375 ft . The races are Jonas counter, A A I approved , Red cross, Rapid response and Gardai presence all day . Post race massage and post race refreshments including hot tea and coffee, biscuits and world famous Clonakilty Black pudding . All participants will receive a unique medal and a quality finishing longsleeved top and they also will have a photowall opportunity to capture those special moments.
