Patsy Kelly 5K

This the 3rd year of the Patsy Kelly 5k. This event is run in memory of our dear friend and colleague Patsy Kelly. Patsy was a dedicated and accomplished runner and he was much loved by his friends in the North East Runners and Clan na Gael. This years buzz words are "bigger and better" and we are very much aiming to top the 670 entrys that we had in 2013. This year we are having an early bird special entry fee of €12 up to the 31st of December 2013. The entry fee will then revert to €15. The main aim of the Patsy Kelly 5k race is to provide a high quality event that is fully accessible for participants regardless of abilities or age. Of course in these hard times value for money is important and your €12 (up to the 31st of December and €15 thereafter) will get you: – AAI Permitted event – High quality t-shirt for first 650 entrants – Chip timing – Goodie bag – An abundance of post race refreshments – Plenty of category prizes and prizes covering the full field of entrants – Team prizes – Course record prize (female 16m 49s, male 15m 09s) – Fast, accurately measured course This years nominated charity is Womens Aid dundalk and all net race proceeds will be donated to this worthwhile cause. So come on out, whether it be run, walk or jog on the 12th of April for the 3rd Patsy Kelly 5k or PK5k as the race is affectionately known as!!
