December 15th The Staff of Martin Moore & Company in blennerville are organising the Tralee 5km Santa Fun Run on Sunday 15th December 2013 at 12 noon from the Tralee Bay Wetlands.
Tralee 5KM Santa Fun Run WE are organising the run in aid of the Make A wish foundation, and in memory of Martin & Deidre’s 16 year old daughter Fiona Moore who passed away in May of this year while waiting on a Lung transplant.
Fiona was diagnosed with primary pulmonary hypertension, and was on the transplant list since June 2012.
The route leaves Tralee Bay Wetlands, out the Canal road into blennerville, left over the bridge, left onto Kearneys Road, Left again down Ballyard Hill and ending once again in the Tralee Bay Wetlands.
WE have a facebook page, Tralee 5km Santa Fun Run, where you will find a link to do online registration through Active Global.com.
There are also flyers in local shops which can be used for registration also.
Registration fee is €5 for under 16’s, €7 for an adult & €20 for a Family Entry.
There is a prize for the best Dressed Santa, and people are encouraged to come dressed up.
100% of the proceeds will benefit the Make A Wish foundation, the charity that brought Fiona to London for what was a trip of a lifetime, where she met up with author Jacqueline Wilson.
