Registration ends midnight August 28, 2013 REGISTRATION for The Kerryman Dingle Marathon will remain open until Midnight Wednesday August 28th, 2013. Runners not registered are encouraged to do so as soon as possible due to the limitation on places.

According to the organisers approximately 80 per cent of the field have registered and the half-marathon is close 90 per cent full. “Dingle comes at the perfect time of the year for marathon runners who want to compete in cross-country events later in the year.” The Kerryman Dingle Marathon co-ordinator Ken Dunne said. “We`ve noticed that the registration is almost complete by mid-August, however we keep it open as close to the event as possible to facilitate cross-country runners to plan their season.” he added. The 13 mile half marathon is popular with both runners and walkers. The 26 mile marathon is attracting first time and veteran runners. The 50 mile ultra marathon attracts international attention. It is already considered the toughest race in Ireland. Two runners can register for a half marathon each under the Buddy option. The course is laid out around the Dingle peninsula through picturesque villages and incorporates 17 miles of coast road. The spectacular scenery of one of Ireland’s most beautiful landscapes will enhance the pleasure of The Kerryman Dingle Marathon experience.
