5 K Fun Run to support equine rescue The IHWT 5 K Fun run is kindly sponsored by TRM and takes place on Sunday 14th July at 12 noon courtesy of Punchestown Racecourse. Participants can register on-line at www.activeglobal.com or by email to info@ihwt.ie. Costs: 25 euro per person to support the rescue and rehabilitation of neglected/abused horses & ponies. Exclusive Tech t shirts for all participants. Sponsor pack available/optional. The IHWT is a registered Charity dedicated to the welfare of equines. The Charity operates from its farm in Co Wicklow where it cares for up to 90 horses and ponies at any one time. Part of the work done by the IHWT includes delivering education programmes in disadvantaged areas of the country where there are urban horse problems and promoting equine welfare.
