Cork BHAA For the past few years it has been my privilege to assist the Cork BHAA Committee with the preparation & distribution of emails containing results & fixtures and maintaining the Cork BHAA website. Prior to 2007 race season, I informed the committee that I’d continue until the end of 2007 and that I’d ‘retire’ at that stage.
Therefore, this will be the final set of results that I’ll be sending out.
As I pass the baton to my successor, I take this opportunity to pay tribute to the Cork BHAA Committee, individual race organisers and the volunteers who assist at races. We are all aware of the great work that the Cork BHAA committee members perform on race days. In my dealings with members of the committee, I became aware of many other time consuming tasks which are done quitely in the background – measuring courses, buying prizes, preparing refreshments, getting non-claimed prizes and ‘found’ gear to their owners etc.

As runners we are very fortunate to have the expertise and dedication of the Cork BHAA Committee organising such a magnificent set of fixtures on our behalf.
