The Marrey bikes sponsored Duathlon is a mix of running and cycling over a flat course. A standard racing bike will do perfectly for the bike sections and your normal runners will do for all of the running sections.
The Distance is suitable to all, 4k run 20k bike and finishes with another 4k run, The running sections are a mix of paths and tracks along the beautiful river Robe.The bike sections are all on quite sealed rural roads, but bring a spare tube and pump in case of a puncture as you have to be self sufficient. Remember to fit a water bottle to your bike as it’s easier to take on fluids while cycling.
Entry fee: Early bird €20 on line before January 31st, and €25 after to Feb 14th @6pm
To sign on the day itself is €30.
Sign on at Marrey bikes Watson’s lane Ballinrobe from 8am to 9.15.
Race start at 10am sharp, at Abbey St Ballinrobe.
